Why Chiropractic

About Doctor of Chiropractic

Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) are specialists in the detection, reduction, and prevention of nervous system interferences that can cause many health problems. We are a drug and surgery free branch of healthcare that seeks to find the source of the problem and treat it. With Chiropractic care, not only is sick time reduced, but hospital, drug and other medical costs are often avoided. Medical doctors (MDs) may refer patients to chiropractors or work in conjunction with a chiropractic physician to give patients optimal care.

How Chiropractic Work

When your spinal vertebrae are out of alignment, there is a pinching effect on the nerves. The nerves exiting from your spinal vertebrae not only affect your back and neck, they travel to your whole body! These nerves go to the tips of your fingers, the tips of your toes, and to your internal organs. Chiropractic adjustments help to keep the vertebrae from interfering with your nerves.

When to See a Chiropractor

Comprehensive chiropractic treatment plans can alleviate or cure ailments such as headaches (including certain types of migraines), back, neck, arm, hand, and leg pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, bulging/slipped/herniated disc, heel/foot pain, auto accidents (whiplash), workers' compensation, sports injuries and many other disorders that relate to the body's nervous and musculoskeletal system.
